Crue Accounting
About

Small firm. Same person on the phone in October as in April.

Crue Accounting is a solo practice run out of St. Louis, Missouri. I built it because most people don't need a bigger firm. They need a person who returns calls, explains things plainly, and remembers what was going on with their books last summer.

How I got here

I've been doing this work long enough to know that the difference between a forgettable tax return and a great one is in the conversation, not the math. Asking the right questions. Noticing the thing on page four that the software didn't flag. Knowing what last year looked like so this year fits together.

Crue Accounting grew out of years of preparing returns, keeping books, and watching people get short-changed by either DIY software or factory-sized firms where they never spoke to the same person twice. Crue is the third option.

What working together looks like

  1. 1

    Free 30-minute consult

We talk through what you need (tax help, bookkeeping, both) and how I can help.

  2. 2

    Intake & documents

You send the relevant paperwork. Prior returns, statements, anything that matters. I'll tell you exactly what I need and what I don't.

  3. 3

    Review & questions

I read everything carefully. Then I ask the questions a software prompt won't. The ones that surface deductions, credits, or red flags worth knowing about.

  4. 4

    Walkthrough & file

Before we file, I walk you through what's on the return, what changed from last year, and what to expect. Then we e-file. Then you have my number for the rest of the year.

Let's talk through your situation.

Pick a time that works for you. Thirty minutes, no pressure, and you'll leave with a clear next step.
